THE restored Gemini 12 spacecraft, flown in 1966 by NASA astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Jim Lovell, is one of the highlights of “Shoot for the Moon,” a new permanent exhibit that was to open Saturday at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum. Through multimedia presentations and artifacts, the exhibit tells the story of the race to the moon. The exhibit is included in the museum’s regular admission price through November.
