* Who’s gone: Vladimir Radmanovic, Walter McCarty, Boniface Ndong, Vin Baker.
* Who’s new: Tim Thomas, Aaron Williams, Paul Davis.
* Projected starting lineup: Elton Brand, Cuttino Mobley, Chris Kaman, Quinton Ross, Shaun Livingston.
* Projected bench rotation: Sam Cassell, Thomas, Corey Maggette, Davis, Daniel Ewing, Williams.
* Keys to the season: Livingston could help lift the Clippers to new heights. The team expects a breakout year from the 6-foot-7 point guard, who seems to have put it all together for his third season. Kaman emerged among the NBA’s best young centers last season and received a $52-million contract extension. Brand is focused on doing bigger things after his busy summer with the U.S. national team.
* Outlook: Talented and deep, the Clippers should push the Phoenix Suns for the division title and advance far into the Western Conference playoffs.
