Some county workers to get 10% pay hikes

Public defender investigators, Sheriff’s Department evidence analyzers and social workers will receive raises of 10% over the next three years, the Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday.
Some of the employees also will be eligible for additional salary bumps and bonuses for being on the job 19 or more years.
