Man, 28, Slain Outside Home in Drive-By Attack

A 28-year-old man died Monday following a drive-by shooting outside his home, police said.
Saul Reyes was shot about 11:20 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of Hyde Park Boulevard, LAPD Officer Sandra Escalante said. He was standing outside his house when a Dodge Stratus or Intrepid drove up and the occupants began firing at him, Escalante said.
Reyes was struck several times in his legs and upper body and taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
The killers fled.
