4 Held After Fatal Shooting at Carwash
A man was shot to death early Thursday while sitting in his car at a 24-hour carwash and four suspects were arrested, authorities said.
Miguel Davila, 26, was at the carwash in the 4400 block of West 17th Street when four suspected gang members tried to rob him, police said.
A Garden Grove police officer in the area heard shots and saw the four suspects run to their vehicle, said Sgt. Lorenzo Carillo, a spokesman for the Santa Ana Police Department. When he pulled them over, he found a semiautomatic handgun, Carillo said.
Arrested were Narong Thongdeng, 24; Joshua Richards, 19; and Pech Saron, 22; the fourth, an unidentified minor, was taken to a juvenile detention center in Orange.
