Teen Kept in Custody After Classmates Shot

A 14-year-old boy accused of wounding two classmates in a shooting at a Reno middle school last week was ordered held in custody at his hearing before a juvenile court judge.
The judge agreed with the prosecutor’s claim that the youth represented a danger to society and ordered the eighth-grader held at a detention center pending a psychiatric review. No charges have been filed.
