Allen’s fate and the Bush administration

Re “Claude Allen’s life sentence,” Opinion, March 15
I don’t shed any tears over the demise of Claude Allen, who just joined the ranks of other prominent black ex-officials of the Bush administration, such as former Secretary of State Colin Powell. They should have known perfectly well that Bush values only their loyalty, not their opinion. My advice for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is to return to Stanford before getting pushed out by Vice President Dick Cheney.

Shocked by a black conservative? Erin Aubry Kaplan ought to get out more into the real world -- it is changing. Those who were told to never wander far from the Dem-wit, oops, sorry, the Democratic field have started to -- gasp! -- think on their own. Oh my!

Is Kaplan intentionally racist, or is she just ignorant and arrogant? Her column is astonishingly offensive and does a fine job of illustrating the knee-jerk racism of the left.

Kaplan has convicted Allen without a trial because he is a black Republican. What follows now -- execution?
