14-Year-Old Denies Child Rape Accusations

A 14-year-old boy charged with eight counts of sexual assault related to the rape of an 11-year-old boy at knifepoint in Watts denied the accusations at a Juvenile Court hearing Tuesday.
Charges against the boy include forcible sodomy, forcible penetration with a foreign object, carrying a knife and resisting arrest, said Sandi Gibbons, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Prosecutors are seeking to try the boy as an adult, and a hearing on the matter has been scheduled for March 28. The victim was assaulted March 4 in the 200 block of Colden Avenue.
