Compare salaries to pay of workers in California
Re “State Officials to Get 18% Pay Hike,” June 24
Rather than comparing their salaries to those of officials in other states, state officials should compare their salaries to what workers in their own state are making.
I wonder what would happen if the minimum wage were tied to the salaries of elected officials.
