Teen Boy Hospitalized With Gunshot Wound

A 16-year-old boy was shot early Sunday morning outside a backyard party in the 900 block of South Pepper Street, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Jon Johnson.
Shortly before 1 a.m., responding officers found the teen lying in a driveway with a gunshot to his chest. The teen, whose identity is being withheld, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he was in stable condition and was expected to survive, Johnson said.
There is no indication that the shooting was gang-related, and no suspect has been identified, Johnson said.
