From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Four people were run down Sunday morning on their way to church when a gray four-door Chrysler jumped the curb and struck them, and then drove off, said Los Angeles Police Officer Norma Eisenman.
The incident took place about 7:30 a.m. on Crenshaw Boulevard near 71st Street.
A 13-year-old boy suffered a fractured ankle, while a 24-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman suffered broken legs. A 49-year-old man escaped with minor cuts and lacerations.
Witnesses reported seeing the Chrysler driving erratically before the incident, Eisenman said.
