Boeing Will Set Up Facilities in India

Boeing Co. will spend $100 million to set up an aircraft maintenance facility in India as more carriers in the country purchase airplanes to expand.
Boeing also agreed to spend 85 billion rupees ($1.9 billion) for equipment from India after Air India Ltd., the nation’s biggest overseas airline, agreed to buy $11 billion worth of planes.
Airlines in India ordered more than 200 planes valued at $24 billion last year.
