Reporter’s Death Is Called a Homicide

The death of recently retired New York Times reporter David E. Rosenbaum was ruled a homicide, as the District of Columbia medical examiner confirmed he had died from blunt-force trauma to the head.
Rosenbaum, 63, died Sunday night, two days after he was discovered dazed on a sidewalk near his home. Police were searching for two men who were seen in a vehicle in the area where the attack happened.
