Store Director Charged in Deadly Roof Collapse
From Times Wire Reports
The director of a Moscow market where the roof collapsed, killing at least 61 people, was charged with negligence, prosecutors said.
He was identified as Mark Mishiyev.
Hope of finding more survivors faded. Hundreds of workers toiled to clear the enormous mound of concrete and steel at the Bauman market using power shovels and other heavy equipment. Officials said the collapse was probably caused by a buildup of snow, design flaws or maintenance errors.
