Two young boys trapped in a burning mobile home died early Monday morning, Riverside County fire authorities said.
The mother of the boys, ages 1 and 3, survived. Firefighters reached the home in the 26000 block of Marshall Avenue east of Hemet around 6 a.m. The fire was caused by an electrical malfunction in the home’s heater, a Riverside County sheriff’s spokesman said.
The Riverside County coroner did not immediately release the names of the boys.
