How Could We Forget UCLA Basketball?
Fifteen letters were published in Viewpoint last week but not one respecting the UCLA men’s basketball team. The front page of the Times’ Sports section of the same day was also silent about the NCAA tournament-bound Bruins.
Because their record is evidently not creating enough buzz around the Bruins to merit more local and national coverage, perhaps a name change is in order. How about the UCLA Bruins of Los Angeles?
