95 People Reportedly Killed in 3-Day Period

Three days of clashes between security forces and ethnic Tamil rebels in Sri Lanka’s volatile north and east have killed at least 95 people, the military said.
The military said 79 combatants had been killed in an operation in the east. It said an additional 16 Tamil Tiger rebels were killed in the northern district of Vavuniya.
