Empty nest gets an office

The kids’ bags are packed and they’re ready to go. Time for many parents to convert their college-bound children’s bedrooms into home offices, according to a recent KB Home nationwide survey.
The study revealed that 45% of adults questioned said they wanted to put their desks and computers in those onetime sleeping quarters, while 11% said they preferred the space be used for a home gym, and 10% wanted a home theater or media room.
