Work off breakfast at Cliffs of Moher
“ON a recent trip to Ireland, we stayed at the Cill Eoin Guesthouse just outside Ennis. With 14 clean, comfortable rooms, it is too large to be listed as a B&B;, but it offers a full Irish breakfast just the same. The Lucey family runs it, and they are gracious and helpful. It is nicely located to visit the Cliffs of Moher or for a walking tour of Ennis. Be sure to ask about the family’s collection of Royal Crown Derby china.”
Rooms from $38 per person (includes breakfast).

Paris: quiet, nice and near Metro
“WE had a small but comfortable room in Paris with a very nice white and blue tiled bathroom. One of the reasons I liked the place was that the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Included was a continental breakfast of juices, fruit, croissants and sweet rolls, sliced cold meats and cheeses, cereals and coffee/tea. The hotel is well-located and on a quiet street. The closest Metro stop is about a block away.”
Double rooms from $108.
