Update -- The Avengers, who have played only once at Staples Center since Feb. 25, have lost three games in a row and are tied with Utah for last place in the Western Division. Rookie Sonny Cumbie has passed for 1,930 yards and 36 touchdowns with only three interceptions (fewest among AFL quarterbacks). Greg Hopkins is the all-time league leader for interception touchdown returns with 10. The Avengers have played 10 rookies this season. Utah, which is coached by former NFL quarterback Danny White, has lost four games in a row. The Blaze defeated the Avengers, 68-66, earlier this season at Staples Center.
