Add these to casualties of the fall lineup
The fall TV season claimed a couple more victims late this week.
As expected, the WB Network has canceled “Just Legal,” the Monday drama produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and starring Don Johnson. Despite some favorable reviews, the series had trouble hanging on to the relatively large audience provided by “7th Heaven,” the WB’s popular family drama.
NBC also yanked its low-rated fertility drama “Inconceivable” from the Friday schedule after only two airings. The network has not said the show is officially canceled, but crew members said production has shut down.
Fox had already taken “Head Cases,” the legally themed comedy-drama with Chris O’Donnell, off its schedule.
Meanwhile, “Starved,” the controversial comedy about women struggling with eating disorders, got low ratings and won’t be returning to cable network FX.
