Renewal: “The O.C.” has been renewed for a third season, Fox said Tuesday.

‘Saw’ it again: There’ll be another “Saw” in theaters come Halloween. Production is to begin May 2 in Toronto, with Darren Lynn Bousman writing and directing, Twisted Pictures and Lions Gate Films said Tuesday.

Bad guy: Thomas Haden Church, an Academy Award nominee for his performance in “Sideways,” will play the villain in “Spider-Man 3,” which the filmmakers are targeting for a May 2007 release.

Performance canceled: Tonight’s performance by dancer Savion Glover at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood has been canceled. Tickets can be exchanged for Thursday, Friday or Saturday shows.
