Bike Trail Could Reopen Soon

A portion of the San Juan Creek Bike Trail that has been closed since last week’s torrential rainfall might be reopened next month, a San Juan Capistrano official said Wednesday.
But substantial damage to the creek along which it runs would probably force a closing of a stretch of the trail for three months this summer, coordinator Tony Foster said.
“A detour is being set up,” he said.
