Writers to honor Cannell

Novelist and prolific television writer Stephen J. Cannell will be honored Sunday by the Southern California chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.

Cannell will be presented with the Marlowe Award at an 11 a.m. brunch at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Tickets for the event, which is open to the public, are $50.
