‘9 to 5’ Bandit Sought in 7 Bank Robberies

A man dubbed the “9 to 5 Bandit” because he wears a dress shirt and tie was working late Friday when he held up a Wells Fargo bank branch about 5:30 p.m., the FBI reported.
The robber has been linked to six robberies since July 2, in Covina, La Verne, Whittier, Pasadena, Burbank and Temecula.
The man is described as a Latino, 25 to 38 years old, about 6 feet 5, 190 to 220 pounds, has a goatee and faded green tattoos on his right hand and the right side of his neck. He is said to have a deep, shaky voice.
