Rupert Murdoch’s Pay Jumps 42% With Bonus

News Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch’s pay rose 42% to $17 million during the fiscal year ended June 30.
Murdoch’s salary was little changed at $4.5 million. His bonus rose to $12.5 million from $7.5 million the previous year, News Corp. said in its annual report.
Peter Chernin, News Corp.’s president and chief operating officer, remained the company’s highest-paid executive. His compensation rose 7% to $17.6 million from $16.4 million, including a bonus of $8.9 million.
