Mortgage Applications Fall Last Week

New applications for U.S. home loans fell last week from a four-month high even as 30-year mortgage rates declined to their lowest level since late March, an industry group said.
The Mortgage Bankers Assn. said its measure of all mortgage activity fell 2% for the week ended Friday.
The Washington trade group said loan requests for home purchases fell 4.3% for the week, while refinancing requests rose 1.2%.
