Bodies Surface in Himalayan Glacier

The frozen bodies of four foreign tourists have surfaced in a melting Himalayan glacier after more than two decades, Indian officials said, but their identities are shrouded in mystery.
Bad weather forced back a team of mountaineers sent to retrieve the preserved bodies, officials said, but an army helicopter would be enlisted in the search in the Kangla Jot glacier in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Police said a tour guide spotted the bodies two weeks ago and found a backpack with papers, including a 1981 trekking permit. Some of the documents indicated the group was Swedish.
