Re “Some Bus Drivers Ban Breastfeeding, Protesters Allege,” Sept. 1: It is well known that breastfeeding benefits the health of a mom and baby in myriad ways.
Nursing a baby is also easier and more convenient than bottle-feeding. I suppose that’s why the state Legislature passed our “breastfeeding anywhere” law.
Nevertheless, some people are offended when a mom chooses to breastfeed in public.
The answer is simply to use a baby carrier that allows discreet breastfeeding.
If no one knows you’re breastfeeding, there’s no problem.
