Holiday closures
Monday is Columbus Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Offices: Federal offices and courts will be closed. Most city offices will be open; call your city hall for information.
Mail: No mail delivery; post offices will be closed.
Libraries: Most will be closed.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Schools: Most public schools and places of higher education will be unaffected.
Public transportation: OCTA and Metrolink will be unaffected.
Trash collection: Most trash schedules will be unaffected; call your waste management company for schedule information.
