Fun ‘Scoundrels’
I am a 68-year-old prude, and I wish I had been sitting next to James C. Taylor when he reviewed “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” [“Yes, It’s Dirty, and Nearly Rotten Too, Sept. 24]. I must have missed most of the dirty humor, and it seems to me that if it would “make ... sailors blush,” I should have gotten it.
What I experienced was a romp, a lot of fun and good burlesque. Yes, it needs some tweaking, and I assume that it will get that before going to Broadway.
