Los Angeles Holiday Closures
Government: All city, county, state and federal offices and public schools will be closed today and Friday. Libraries and post offices also will be closed today.
Transportation: MTA buses and trains will follow their altered Sunday schedules today. The Los Angeles County transit system will return to its regular weekday schedule Friday.
Trash: Residents whose pickup day is Thursday or Friday will have their trash picked up a day later.
