Man With Wheelchair Killed

A Westminster man was killed in a hit-and-run accident Saturday morning, Westminster police said.
Chanh Nguyen, 84, was pushing his wheelchair across Hazard Avenue near Magnolia Street about 5:45 a.m. when he was struck and killed by a car, police reports show.
Nguyen died at the scene. The driver fled east on Hazard.
Police said the vehicle’s headlight area and windshield may be damaged.
