Halliburton Reports Dealings of 2 Employees

Halliburton Co., the largest U.S. contractor in Iraq, said two former employees might have inappropriately solicited or accepted payments from a subcontractor in Kuwait.
Halliburton last month reported to the Defense Department’s inspector general that the workers might have had “inappropriate contacts” with a subcontractor. It didn’t elaborate.
“We are doing everything we can to make sure this particular scenario won’t happen again,” Halliburton spokeswoman Wendy Hall said in an e-mail.
