Bandits Steal Bags of Candy From Children
From Times Staff Reports
Several thieves stole bags of candy from trick-or-treaters in south Orange County and fled, authorities said Monday.
No one was injured during the Sunday evening thefts in Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita and San Juan Capistrano.
Dubbed the “Candy Bag Bandits,” the thieves would grab children’s Halloween bags, then hop into a waiting car and flee, authorities said.
There are no suspects, officials said.
