PalmOne Opens Store in Philadelphia

PalmOne Inc., faced with slumping sales of what was once a must-have consumer gadget, is taking hand-held computers directly to the public with its own retail stores. PalmOne unveiled its flagship store at Philadelphia International Airport, the 11th store the Milpitas, Calif.-based company has quietly opened since 2002.
