Private Jet Crashes at Military Air Base

A private jet thought to have four passengers aboard crashed and burned Wednesday night at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, officials said.
The Citation jet may have been trying to land at Montgomery Field, the city’s private aviation airport. Civilian and military rescue squads were dispatched. The crash occurred about 9:30 p.m. in an open field east of Interstate 15.
