Arab Prisoners, Israeli Fly to Germany for Swap
From Times Wire Reports
Arab prisoners and a single Israeli flew on separate planes toward Germany in a prisoner swap between Israel and the Lebanese guerrilla group Hezbollah.
A plane carrying 36 Arab prisoners took off from Jerusalem, while another plane left Beirut carrying kidnapped businessman Elhanan Tannenbaum and the bodies of three Israeli soldiers whose fate Hezbollah had kept secret since 2000.
The German-mediated swap was expected to be completed later today. Israel is also to release 400 prisoners into the Palestinian territories.
