Wednesday, at Mighty Ducks, 7:30 p.m. -- This time, Jean-Sebastien Giguere will try to stick it to the Kings, not to his stick. Then again, Giguere probably won’t play.

Thursday, Colorado, 7:30 p.m., Fox Sports Net -- The Kings are staying in the playoff hunt but must improve on their 3-9-4-1 record against the top five Western Conference teams.

Saturday, at Edmonton, 7 p.m. PST, Fox Sports Net -- Definitely parka weather this time of year in Alberta. Forecasts of minus-25 degrees this week? Good thing this one’s not outdoors.

Tuesday, at Calgary, 6 p.m. PST-- Trading spaces? The Flames have been inhabitants of the seventh spot in the West, but the Kings are closing in.
