Michigan State Gets Edge
Lindsay Bowen had 18 points, and Kelli Roehrig made the go-ahead field goal with 19 seconds left to lead Michigan State past Minnesota, 72-69, Sunday in a Big Ten Conference game at Minneapolis.
The loss spoiled a milestone game for Lindsay Whalen, who scored a game-high 27 points to become the Gophers’ career scoring leader (2,123). Minnesota fell to 15-3 overall and 4-3 in conference. Michigan State improved to 15-3 and 5-2.

No. 17 Georgia 80, No. 12 Louisiana State 74 -- Janese Hardrick scored 25 points to lead the Bulldogs (14-5, 3-3) over the Tigers (16-3, 4-1) in a Southeastern Conference victory at Athens, Ga.
No. 14 Colorado 62, Iowa State 51 -- Veronica Johns-Richardson matched her career high with 16 points to lead the Rams (16-2, 5-1) over the Cyclones (9-7, 2-3) in a Big 12 game at Ames, Iowa.
No. 16 DePaul 99, Tulane 60 -- Khara Smith had 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Blue Demons (18-1, 6-0) over the Green Wave (7-11, 0-5) in a Conference USA game at Chicago.
No. 21 Texas Christian 73, Cincinnati 57 -- The Horned Frogs (15-3, 4-1) shot 57% in the second half to defeat the Bearcats (10-10, 1-5) in a Conference USA game at Fort Worth.
No. 22 Auburn 71, Arkansas 44 -- Le’Coe Willingham scored 22 points to lead the Tigers (15-4, 3-2) over the Razorbacks (13-5, 2-3) in an SEC game at Fayetteville, Ark.
Louisville 77, No. 25 Houston 75 -- Jazz Covington scored 30 points to help the Cardinals (11-8, 3-3) over the Cougars (15-3, 4-1) in overtime in a Conference USA game at Houston.
