House of Wax 3-D. Two brothers extend their small town’s main attraction into a sinister display of wax-covered bodies. Joel Silver’s Dark Castle (“Gothika”) produced. Warner Bros., Oct 22.
Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Genetically enhanced superheroine Milla Jovovich leads the fight to eliminate a deadly virus that turns humans into zombies. Directed by Alexander Witt. Screen Gems, Oct 1.
The Ring 2. Naomi Watts returns as an investigative reporter in the sequel to the 2001 hit. Directed by Noam Murro. DreamWorks, November.
