Delta Posts Smaller Loss but Misses Expectations

Delta Air Lines Inc. reported a narrower fourth-quarter loss on higher revenue but missed Wall Street expectations and warned that there was no immediate end in sight to the company’s losses.
The nation’s third-largest airline said it lost $332 million, or $2.69 a share, compared with a loss of $367 million, or $2.98, a year earlier. Revenue was $3.4 billion, a 2.7% increase.
Shares rose 1 cent to $12.15 on the New York Stock Exchange.
