Police Kill Suspect and Wound Another

Police officers responding to an assault call shot and killed one suspect and wounded another Tuesday evening in the Crenshaw district, authorities said.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the call in the 4100 block of Palmyra Road at 9:50 p.m. and were confronted by three men, said LAPD spokesman Jason Lee.
The third suspect in the shooting was not injured, but was taken into custody, police said. A handgun was recovered.
None of the officers involved in the incident were injured.
