Man Dies, 3 People Hurt in Crash on 405 Freeway

A man died and three others were injured when three cars collided early Saturday on the San Diego Freeway, authorities said.
Fidel Salazar Guefia, 51, of Lawndale died at the scene of the 4:30 a.m. accident just south of Beach Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said.
Guefia’s sedan was southbound when it spun out of control, CHP spokeswoman Staci Lundquist said. Two cars then hit his vehicle.
The three people suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals, authorities said.
