Teacher Booked on Molestation Charges

A high school Spanish and drama teacher was arrested and charged with molesting four students, most of them on campus, officials said.
Jesus Rivera, a teacher at Golden Valley High School, was booked into Merced County Jail on one count of felony oral copulation with a minor and four felony counts of lewd acts with a minor.
Rivera also faces misdemeanor counts on suspicion of annoying or molesting children in incidents dating to 2002.
The alleged victims were all boys between 14 and 17 at the times of the alleged incidents, said Merced Police Det. Rod Dash, who investigated the case.
