Easy Victory for Duke

Freshman Wanisha Smith scored a career-high 22 points to help third-ranked Duke roll over Jacksonville State, 99-36, Wednesday at Durham, N.C. Monique Currie had 17 points for Duke (9-1). Jacksonville State (1-4) got no more than four points from any of its starters.

No. 6 Baylor 74, Washington 58 -- Sophia Young scored 22 points at Seattle to lead the Bears (8-1) to their eighth victory in a row. Washington (4-5) led by 11 in the first half.

No. 9 Tennessee 70, Louisiana Tech 59 -- Alexis Hornbuckle had 17 points for the Lady Vols (6-2), who gave the Techsters (4-3) consecutive home losses for the first time in 14 seasons.

No. 21 DePaul 73, Northern Illinois 59 -- Khara Smith scored 26 points for the Blue Demons (7-2) at DeKalb, Ill. Kristin Wiener led the Huskies (1-6) with 11 points.
