Performances set for ‘St. George’
An adaptation of a 15th century folk tale, “The Masque of St. George and the Dragon,” staged as part of a literacy-promoting program for disadvantaged school-age children, will be performed at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute today at 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday at 11 a.m., and Friday at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., with some seats available for the general public.
Directed by Anna Strasberg, it is co-sponsored by early college outreach program Project GRAD and the Reading Is Fundamental literacy program.
The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute is at 7936 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood. Admission is free; reservations are required: (323) 650-7777.
