Commandos Accused of Killing Unarmed Man

The Israeli military said it was suspending an elite commando unit from duty in the West Bank and launching an inquiry into allegations that members of the force killed a wounded Palestinian prisoner.
Palestinian witnesses said militant Mahmoud Kamil Dobie, 25, was unarmed when shot Friday in Raba, according to Israeli human rights group B’tselem. The army said Dobie had a pistol and was trying to flee.
