From Times Wire Reports
The Marine once feared beheaded in Iraq said he was thankful to be home and asked people to pray for all hostages.
Wassef Ali Hassoun, 24, returned to his brother’s suburban home in West Jordan about 12 miles south of Salt Lake City, on Saturday evening.
Hassoun failed to report for duty June 20, and videotape later surfaced showing him apparently kidnapped. He later turned up at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.
The Naval Criminal Investigative Service has been looking into Hassoun’s disappearance.
