Freeway Car Fire Victim Identified as Irvine Man

A man who was killed when he was trapped in his burning car on the Garden Grove Freeway has been identified as Thao Le of Irvine, Orange County coroner’s officials said Monday.
Le, 62, died Saturday after the 10 p.m. fire in the eastbound lanes near The City Drive, police said.
He was rushed to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he died, officials said.
